Oaths and Pledges

 I, Joseph Saponaro, MD, consider it an honor and a privilege to be able to practice medicine. It is my goal to do it in the most ethical manner possible by concentrating on helping my fellow man and mankind while preserving everyone’s rights, dignity, and privacy.
 Towards these ends, I have read many Oaths and Pledges. I think about these every day and especially in times when I’m confronted with difficult ethical decisions and competing influences.
